Please I need your prayers. It is for my friend Debbie (and her son) . Her husband has just committed suicide and I went to see her today. It was awful. The circumstances were awful, He has left her in such a mess in all ways. She really needs your prayers.

Prayed again this morning
I wonder if there is a little walk near her where a lot of snow drops/crocus/ bluebells are

That little beauty might help

Thank you people-you are good I teally really hope she can feel the support.
I don't think she is in a good place for anything lovely right now Jenni. Her husband hanged himself and left her with debts etc and so she has to sell the house and lose everything she has. Her Mum died in January and her Dad died on Xmas Eve.

Dear Julie

How absolutely terrible for Debbie and her son, i am so very sorry and my thoughts are very much with them at this devastating time. As always there are no adequate words, but I am sure having you as a good friend will help support them and reassure them in time.

Take care of yourself too and Alan of course,
Love Lizxx

Dear Julie,
I can't get Deb out of my mind. I do hope she is going to get some proper professional help.
How about the National Debt (counselling?) Agency?
I heard someone on Money Box Live a few months ago and think that's their name.
The Citizens Advice people will know. I really can't imagine how she faces every new morning.
Please tell her not to rush into any debt relief without careful thought. The back of the local paper
may seem easy but may be a trap. I also hope her son will be able to get some individual help.
Poor lad, he must wonder if he is next. I am not religious, so no prayers ,but anything short of that,
that everyone is doing must help, we may not know each other but heartfelt sympathies and all the help
your friendship (and this forum) can give must be a flickering light at the end of a humugous tunnel.
Gentle hugs to you and Deb Anne

Thank you so much for all your thoughts and suggestions. I'm so upset because I fell down the stairs the day before the funeral and injured my foot and shuulder so i couldn't be there. I haven't heard from Debbie but I've been told that the funeral went as well as you could expect.

Now she must find somewhere to live and a home for one of her cats.
